Someone who has worked hard all his life, who was an ordinary Digger in the Viet-Nam War, who was lucky enough to gain an ordinary degree, who can get by in a few Asian and European languages, who attended more than his fair share of seminars/forums/conferences in Canberra, Sydney and elsewhere .... and who is appalled at the lives ruined and the opportunities lost by stupid policies.
